PSEA and AFL-CIO sign historic labor solidarity partnership agreement
<p>The presidents of the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO and PSEA signaled the beginning of a new, stronger bond, signing historic agreement to allow for greater solidarity and advocacy on behalf of working Pennsylvanians.</p>

2010 National Healthy Schools Day
<p>PSEA is a proud co-sponsor of this year’s National Healthy Schools Day - April 26, 2010. This event is a national partnership campaign for Indoor Air Quality in schools coordinated by Healthy Schools Network with the US EPA and the Council of Educational Facility Planners-International.</p>

Notice: PSEA Harrisburg and Mechanicsburg offices closed February 10
<p>Due to the predicted inclement weather, PSEA Headquarters in Harrisburg and PSEA Southern Region office in Mechanicsburg will be closed Wednesday, February 10. PSEA will respond to any telephone and e-mail messages when the buildings re-open.</p>

PSEA commends governor for continued investment in education
<p>An increase in state funds for the 2010-11 fiscal year is critical to achieve Pennsylvania’s goal of strong schools, successful children and vibrant communities.</p>

IMPORTANT: Committee Weekend Cancelled

<p>After a two-year battle, the Williamsport Area Education Support Professional Association (WAESPA), applauds a decision by the PA Labor Relations Board (PLRB) which calls on the Williamsport Area School District to rescind its contract with a private bus company and to reinstate the 38 former WAESPA drivers with back pay.</p>

Candidates for Governor speak to PSEA members at public forum
<p>PSEA kicked off the 2010 election campaign for governor by meeting with six of the seven candidates, and hearing directly from the candidates on their ideas to make a difference for students and quality education.</p>

Educators rally to aid Haiti earthquake victims
<p>The international educators union, Education International, concerned about the humanitarian impact of the devastating earthquake which struck Haiti earlier this week, has launched a special fund for the families of teachers affected.</p>
